Catching up on a couple weeks of outfits. We went from a cold snap to the whole last week getting warmer, so I was able to style some of the same dresses for winter and pre-spring.

Mon 2/23: the new brown-and-black Alfani dress with a brown scarf and black cascading cardigan.

Tue 2/24: Finally found a chunky long cardigan at H&M! The short sleeves is what makes it work, I think. I paired it with chocolate browns and a fun polka-dot ruffled top from Target. My pants are starting to fit again, hurray!

Wed 2/25: A mixup of patterns: striped Hamburglar turtleneck, plaid booties, striped tights. Not crazy about this one in retrospect, but it was fun for the day!

Thur 2/26: Another remix of the circle-pattern Connexions dress in purple and brown. This time I broke it up with a mustard belt.

Fri 2/27: One of my favorite business-casual looks so far. That Target moto is so handy, and makes even a ribbed turtleneck and black pants look fresh!

Sunday 2/28: The polka-dot blouse get remixed as a casual outfit, with a sweet fuschia belt to break up all the brown.

Monday 3/1: I posted this in The Way I Used to Be thread, but for continuity's sake, here it is again to show the grey-and-black mix. I do love that chiffon black dress Laura and I found at Loft. It's fun to find new combos for!

Tuesday 3/2: My green patterned Max Studio dress gets another remix with a Forth & Towne jacket I don't wear often enough. I am really trying to rotate through all the F&T jackets Shopping Friend gave me; they're all so distinct and adorable!

Wed 3/3: The Alfani dress is worn again, this time with the Target moto. Seriously two of my favorite recent purchases, no question!

Thur 3/4: The other favorite new purchase, the chunky H&M sweater. This time with a teal Loft banded top I don't wear enough, and a pretty sparkly scarf that was a gift from a friend.

Fri 3/5: Angie asked what pieces of clothing make us feel powerful, and my answer is: this outfit. Sheath dress, heels and a cuff bracelet make me feel like I am ready to take on the world.

I think this is one of your best posts!! I love every day. I think my favorite outfit is Monday but really love the last one also (your power day). You look so put together and creative!! Your weight loss is impressive- congrats. You are looking spectacular.

I love your power day. Teal is one of your absolute best colors. My mouth was hanging open reading the post that went along with it (about the insane woman you're dealing with). Egads, that woman sounds horribly insecure. You, on the other hand, are the picture of confidence! Go Kristen!

That brown and black alfani dress is wonderful. I like it best with the moto jacket. I also really love the chunky cardi. I have always had an affinity for chunky knits, probably because I'm always cold. But I have shied away from them as I began to realize that they just don't do me many favors. This one is just perfect. I think, in addition to the short sleeves, belting makes it work.

The casual Friday look is so fun. I can see why you love that purchase. And your power outfit is great. Can't believe that woman you work with! Glad you were able to use your power outfit force field to maneuver that situation successfully.

yum yum yum! I could just eat that brown scarf up!!! That is my hands down favorite outfit of the whole lot. Love the way you tied it-- i'm gonna try that and I love the mix of the brown and black. YUUUUUUM!
And then my second most favoritest of the bunch (yes, I know favoritest isn't a real word) is the teal dress outfit.
