I ordered these to replace my SE Cruz which have seen better days. Do you think they are too crazy to be versatile?

I do not think they are too crazy at all, Kelly. They're really pretty, and I think you can wear them with a lot of colors and patterns.

Your Cruz's actually don't look as bad as mine, I don't think. I have lots of areas of black where the blue has worn down. I feel like I got my money's worth, although more quickly than I had hoped!

@Marley: yes, I was thinking they'd almost be a neutral.
@viva: I just loved the colors in these and I thought the pattern would help hide the dirt. My Cruz were a summer workhorse. They served me well! I'll probably keep them until the weather turns but the scuffing on the sides won't come off anymore and the crackle is peeling off on the sides and top so they don't look very polished. Too rate for me!
@lisap: LOL! You're right. There are several pairs I wouldn't mind adding to my shoe collection but I have to keep reminding myself that boot season is right around the corner.
@Mona: Yes, I imagine wearing them with everything!
@Angie: Thanks! I could see myself buying a pair of white Vans and never bothering to paint them because I'd be afraid that I'd ruin them. These were on sale at Urban Outfitters so I jumped!

My SE Cruz are workhorses too but I'm not sure I'm ready to replace yet. I'd duplicate in black though if a sale comes up...

@Jackie: I had the black ones in my cart. I kept going back and forth but decided I wanted a more summery looking shoe. I thought the black ones might look too heavy for my summer outfits. The Cruz are on sale at UO too in case you are interested

They would be fun to mix with other patterns, and I think you have a fair number of solids and stripes in your tops, don't you? So I think they'll go with a lot of things. I'll admit I'm biased because I think they are adorable. But if you feel that way, it means you'll find plenty to wear with them. Keep!

Thanks, firecracker! I think you are right about finding ways tonwear them if I love them! I have lots of solids and stripes so they should mix in well!
@tanya: thanks! The Cruz are tts for me. I'm always a 7 and I bought these in a 7. They required no break in for me. I have 7 in the Pettys too if that helps.
@jaileen: thanks! They are fun. I'm so glad I can rip the tags off now!

These are fun - would have to see them worked in to know how versatile they are. They seem a little cute/vacation-y for your style, but I know you could dress them up!
