K/R printed cropped pants

I like that these are a neutral reptile print, and they fit well, but i have not ventured into the world of printed pants in many years, so I need some outside advice. What do you think? How about the length? I would want to be able to wear them with flats as well as high wedge sandals like these. I hope Angie weighs in on this!

You have the legs to pull these off Janet - I think they look amazing with the wedge heels and suspect they would work with flats too, but a pic would help.

Wow. I love these, Janet! The wedges definitely add some length to your leg. I guess I'd need to see you wearing them with flats before making a final judgment.

Janet, I am obsessed with these trousers! I see lots of color (I dig them exactly as styled, also). Annnnnnd, some print mixin...get the party started!

I could see them working just a bit better if they were a little shorter, like rolled up 1 or 2 hem lengths. I think the color along with nude heels helps to keep the leg line from getting shortened.

I'm usually not a print pant fan, but these are plenty rock and roll to suit you. I could see one of your many leather jackets with these and some awesome studded shoes for a kick ass going out look! Keep!!!

These pants are gorgeous and I think they look great with wedges. For flats I would probably toll them up a couple of inches, to the length featured in today's blog post.

Angie is probably on her flight to Japan, so I doubt she will be able to chime in soon.

I like them on your loooooong legs! They're pretty low contrast with your skin tone too which makes them non-shortening. Not sure about with flats though... you might want to do as Tanya suggests and cuff them a bit for flats.

LOVE the print and they are a great neutral that you could pair back to neutrals and pops of color---orange, red, wow! I do agree that the length is a little off---A couple of inches shorter to keep your long leg going. Wedges, kitten heel or flats would work with a shortened length. Great fit--Love!

I like them! It helps that they are low contrast with your skin; the cropped pants question is hardly a factor at all in my mind. I would like a flats pic, too, just to make sure. However, I think that it will be just fine - you can always wear a shorter or tucked top when you wear flats to move the leg line up.

Ooh, those look great! I think they need to be a touch shorter and/or a bit more tapered at the bottom. I just bought a pair of "snakeskin" print pants at TJMaxx last weekend when I was in the states last weekend. Mine are more white with grey. I actually love them. I haven't worn mine yet because I need to taper the bottom few inches.

You have beautiful long legs and these pants with these shoes look great on you. The pattern is quiet and neutral and lovely.

I vote yay for these Janet! If you wear them with flats, try a low vamp and either tuck your top or wear something cropped to show the waist band and I'll bet they work. Cheers!

I love them with the wedges, and I'm betting that they'll work with flats, too, although I'm not good enough at visualizing to say for sure without seeing them.
I like the length as is. I don't see ANY worries about not having a long leg line. Your legs look like they go on forever!

Oh Janet, what have you done?! I made a peace with the thought that patterned trousers and I are not meant to be together and not you have rekindled my longing after them again!!! (this is how great they look on you)
Are they slouchy or fitted on top - I cannot say from the picture?

The fit looks fab; agree with some others about maybe shortening a bit? Those look like mega-high wedges, so it's hard to weigh in re. the flats question.

Sveta, they are fitted at the top -- no waistband and they zip up the side, which is sometimes tricky on my hips, but these seem to be fine. I almost sized up but then realized that I was feeling enough give in the fabric that I suspected they'd bag out and give me saggy bum if I went up a size. Sure enough, in wearing them around the house for about 15 minutes today, I felt them loosening up.

I see what you all are taking about with the length. They are quite tapered and are cut close on my calf. I will try them on again tomorrow, and try testingout the length by rolling them up and combining them with flats.

They're Vince Camuto and I got them at Marshall's, only to later see the exact same pants at Lord & Taylor for full price. Score!
