K/R Amo jeans (new discovery)

I'm looking to replace my pair of worn out skinny blue jeans with something that's mid-rise, with a slight edge.

I stumbled upon the brand Amo and was attracted to the front twisted seam at the ankle. Unfortunately, because my eye has become adjusted to the two lengths that are in fashion at the moment--very cropped or very long--, I can't tell if these are objectively a good look on me. I will admit that this length is ideal for year-round wear.

The fabric is substantial, with not too much give. True jeans.

I ordered a few styles in my size, although I wonder if I should wait out this season for a lighter wash or something not distressed.

Thoughts?

Note that in pic 2, the ankle twist has zippers; one leg is zipped, the other is not.

I like 2 either zipped or not, but have a bias against rips in jeans. The length looks fine to my eye.

Agree on 2. The fade marks on the others look a little too fake. I like the twisted seam look.

They look like they fit very nicely. I prefer 2 as well!

They do look like the fit is perfect. I like washed out black jeans personally but really these all work.

Very flattering, love it!!! Makes a small vent on the hem, and so elongating and braking up a wider calf (not yours of course, I was spelling it's obvious advantages for myself and others interrested:-)).

I like the second pair. Not fond of the placement of the faded spots on the other two. I like the length and the hem detail. I would love something like that but they are never long enough for me.

I like them all (shape and length and zips) and I think you wear them very well. I have a preference though for #2.

I like #1 and #2 best. Great look and fit on you WITH ballet flats. Like leggings almost - but not jeggings.

I like #2 best, for the same reason as everyone else (best wash). I like this length for skinnies.

And thanks for the heads up about this brand! I'm always on the lookout for brands that still use classic low-stretch, substantial denim.

I just noticed similar twisted seams at the Gap (saw them online, meant to try them on). The fit of these looks great. The distressing on the pocket area on 1 and 3 throws me off a little so I'll add another vote for #2.
