Knee Highs for warmth today

Today I wanted to roll my blush jeans and wear blush sandals, but it was too cold. Here's what I ended up with using Angie's trick of sheer knee highs with the more closed loafers.
Jeans: Kut
Tee: generic no name
Silk topper: Citron ( shrunk purposefully in the dryer)
Loafers: Adam Tucker for Me Too
Belt: Target
I'm not confident about the proportions here and the jean roll. Should it be higher or lower? I wore the kimono jacket buttoned up tunic style most of the day but didn't get a photo. Does it look ok open or too much like an open blouse? Thank you for your comments and help to improve my style.

I don't think that the shirt reads too much like a blouse. In fact, I thought it was a blazer until you mentioned otherwise. :^)

As for the pants roll, I would be curious to see what it looks like rolled a little higher up. However, I am still a novice in such matters. :^)

Gigi, I suspect that a higher roll will look better. My fear was that the tops of the knee highs would show if rolled too high.

Hm I think the roll up a little higher to expose a bit more skin OR a little lower to echo the long lengths would work perfectly. The jacket looks fine like this, if you hadn't said otherwise I'd also have thought it was a blazer.

I think roll works as is because if the tapered leg and low contrast between jeans, shoes and your skin but try to roll it higher as well.

Mona, the knee highs really do help keep feet warmer. The temperatures were 40's-50's F.
I'm glad that the kimono-esque top is working as a jacket. It's a good weight for summer air conditioning.
Sveta, thank you for coming back. I don't know why my phone photos are now not loading on my tablet. I suspect it has something to do with iCloud.
Gigi, Aida , Sveta and Neel, your rolling comments are so helpful. When I try this again on a cool day, I plan to wear older sheer pantyhose under the jeans for warmth and to be able to roll higher with confidence.

The jeans look great this length - or you can try one more roll. It's all very forgiving because of the low contrast on your leg line. xo

I love the proportions and the colors. I think the roll works just fine. (Reminds me of how I rolled my pants in jr. high! )
