Keep/Donate shoes?

For your perusal and assessment ladies, here are some shoes which I've had for a few years now. So should they stay or go?

I'm going to keep my counsel for now though

If these were mine I'd be keeping them. They would look so nice with my black pants and overshirt the same/similar colour to the shoes. Also my navy pants, my brown pants, my brown skirt . . .

Outlier here, but I would let them go. The don't look comfortable to my eye (maybe I am wrong here), and the style looks dated. I will endure a dated style for foot heaven (see also Birks when they weren't trending), but not foot misery.

If they are comfy and you wear them regularly keep. They don't look horribly dated, but not totally current either (the rounded toe mostly). I have a few pair I can't part with because I need them for certain pants, but if I found a more current alternative I would replace.

i'm in the let them go camp. they look a little dated to me, i'd say keep if you really love them and think you'll still love them when rounded toes feel right again.

I think they are nice for retro styles. If you are not wanting retro, I'd pass them along.

I am not a huge fan of rounded toes myself and these look like a retro look. I do like Clarks for comfort though. How is that for fence sitting?

I'm not crazy about the wide straps or stitching, but I like the finish as a different neutral so I might keep them if they worked well with pants that I already owned (right height and colour) that covered most of the shoe. Admittedly pointy shoes would be more current.

They look like a mashup of Fluevogs and Kork-Ease to me. Quirky and retro - if that works for you, keep them! Are you wearing them? I don't think shoes automatically date an otherwise current or funky retro style.

I also find them to have a retro flavor--the chunky heel, the roundness of the silhouette overall. Sort of a groovy retro. I vote for saying goodbye to them now unless they are exceptionally comfortable (I agree with Thistle on this one).

Ok, here's where I'm at. Firstly they are a tad high, so If I kept them I'm thinking that I would only be able to wear them for short trips out, evenings out etc. Now, If some of you had come up with some fab modern ways to style them I may have been tempted to keep them....as it is I think I'm going to let them go as I'm not keen on the very rounded toe. These days I think I prefer an almond or pointy toe. I also think I'm not very good at styling things in a retro manner and I do see a bit of retro about them. I'm glad we (the majority at least), seem to be reading from the same hymn sheet.
