"Neutral does not need to be boring, Natalie."
Thanks Angie, I'm trying to learn that! As you can see with my sweater dress and this dress and my recent week of neutrals, I've been exploring the subtler world of neutrals and monochromatic looks and learning that it can be fun too (as long as there is some sort of twist to keep me interested and happy)!

Even though this dress is very neutral, I like how the diagonal stripes make an interesting pattern. So I can still have my pattern cake and eat it too! And I am having fun with the matchy matchy-ness of the shoes, haha.
Lantana, I do have an amber colored pendant and bronze and amber colored cuff so I'll try that, thanks! Heleen, maybe I'll see if it works with my turquoise clutch too. But part of me wants to revel in the toned-down look because it's so new and different for me, LOL!
I find it super interesting and fun that I can do something completely opposite of the bold colorful ALGO pattern mixing looks that I've been sporting recently and still make it feel totally "me"! So this dress is definitely staying, along with my sweater dress and grey lace suit and pinstripe banker skirt. Kinda schizophrenic, but still having a lot of fun!
