Keep Or Return? Dresses and Skirts

Hi!! I haven't had time to stop by in a while...but I made some purchases recently that I need you lovely ladies to help me with.

First is this pencil skirt, unfortunately, the tags are already off and I've worn it once, but I'm wondering now if it's a good shape for me... (Please ignore shirt in all the skirt photos)

Second. This red dress, I love the shape, I bought an identical one in a black/white print, and I feel so very MadMen-esque in it. But the red one, I feel a little bit like the focus is on my mid-section...and that I look preggers. The printed one kind of disguises all that. So I'm wondering what you guys think?

Third is this belted skirt. It's not a pencil skirt, I don't think. And on the hanger it looks a lot fuller than when I put it on. I'm sincerely not sure about it.

First skirt I love on you. All you need is a layering piece on top.
Red dress wooey baby, that there is a siren dress. Gorgeous if you have the personality to be noticed when you walk in the room. You could also use a top layering piece with this such as a waistcoat, cardign, or something to tone down the brightness if you want to.
The last skirt I think is a bit short and maybe would be a candidate for leggings?
You have a great figure and do not look preggers in any of the outfits, at all!!

Hi Amy, My favorite is the red dress. To me it looks super flattering and gives you a nice waist definition/hourglass look. I would keep that one.

I also love the belted skirt, the belt really makes it and you look great.

My least favorite is the pencil skirt. I don't love it as much as the other two. Have you tried untucking your shirt? I am not a fan of the tucked in shirt with this and I think it is throwing me off.

Truthfully I like the first, I think you need to play around with the top though. Like San said a cute cropped cardigan would probably take the skirt to the next level by altering the proportions slightly. Keep.

The second dress is stunning as you said it is very Mad Men. Keep.

The third skirt I am not sure about, I love the print and belt but I say return.

You have a fantastic figure and should not be put off trying more pencil skirts.

I like both skirts; they look cute! I think I prefer the shape of the first pencil one to the belted one, though.

I love the color of the dress and how it frames your shoulders. However, I am bothered by the fabric bunching around your midsection. Is that what is concerning you?

I'm a big fan of pencil skirts because they give us a fabulous figure!
I think the problem here is that you use it tucked, you have long legs and short waist, try untucked and post photos so that we can judge.
I agree that the last skirt seems a little short..

I like the first skirt. The pattern is great and the length is sweet. I agree with the others that you should try to play around with untucking your shirt.

I don't prefer the other two. Well, I love the idea of the second dress. The neckline is particularly very flattering but this dress doesn't look like it fits you right. You shouldn't have that bunching. Can you go up a size and have it taken in for a better fit?

I think the second skirt is a little short. Comparing the two skirts, the first one looks like the idea length for you. This one is just a touch higher and while it doesn't look awful, it's not great like the other. So I vote return.

Love the first skirt. If I could find one like it, I would buy it in a heartbeat! It fits you wonderfully and I think it will make a very versatile piece in your wardrobe. The other skirt, the print is great but fit is off when compared to the first skirt. I LOVE the red dress on you, the cut and the style - but i agree with Alecia that perhaps you should try on a bigger size, just to see if you can get a smoother fit.

I had the same concern as Alecia and Cciele - the skirt looks like it's bunching up around your chest, midsection, and back. Maybe a larger size would lie smooth?

This is a matter of preference but if I were you I would keep only one of the skirts. They are too similar in shape, pattern, color. I personally like the first one better because of the size of the pattern. It is a bit more subtle imo.
The dress is super cute but it looks like it is bunching too much. Can you try sizing up?
