Angie, I think we must have just missed each other! I posted an interview recap in my outfit thread, but it's not very visible there so here's a copy:

Thank you SO much for all of the encouragement. Interview #1 went VERY well. I felt like I connected with the team and am confident that if I'm offered a job, it would be a great fit (and I think it would provide good opportunities long-term too, which is even better.) So we'll see. I know it's a super competitive market, but at the very least I had an excellent interview and gave it my best. It was also wonderful to feel confident in what I was wearing - comfortable clothes, favorite colors, and having the You Look Fab seal of approval - so I could truly focus on the interview instead.

We'll see what happens with interview #2 today!

AWESOME! So happy for you (that the interview went well and you felt stellar!) Keep your phone by your side for any potential phone calls. ;)

Good luck today!

This is marvelous news Kari! I'm so happy to hear it went well (and that you felt comfortable and confident). Look at what you have accomplished already in a few days time!

Update: Woohoo, #2 was also a good interview experience! It's always interesting to interview back-to-back with different companies for comparison. The great thing about both of them is that they seemed very interested in me as a candidate, everyone had obviously read through my resume as they had some specific questions about past positions, and I was able to meet with several members of the main team I would be working with in each company. Also, both companies seem to have great opportunities for long term growth in areas I'm interested in starting from the role I interviewed for. Again, I was enthusiastic, positive, but also honest and (hopefully) informative, and felt like I've given my best to both interviews.

I have a hunch (based on location & company culture) that one of the companies might be a *slightly* better fit than the other, but honestly if either one made me a job offer within the salary range I'm looking for, I wouldn't hesitate. So we'll see what happens. I'll keep YouLookFab posted for sure if I receive & accept an offer, or if any other interview opportunities come up.

Thanks for wishing me luck, Angie, MariannaCecile, and Inge! It is greatly appreciated.

P.S. I changed up my interview outfit slightly for the second day if you're curious. :)

You are just full of good news today, Kari! I’m so happy for you. BRILLIANT.

When will you get word back do you think?

Thank you all very much. I feel bad for taking up so much space on the forum this week, but it has helped SO much to have your support and advice, especially since this ended up being the week of interviews.

I will probably hear about one of the job prospects tomorrow & have a good feeling about it. They moved fast with reference checks and sounded very interested, which is excellent. If that doesn't work out, the other job will probably let me know in the next week or so. Both companies want to fill their position soon!
