How did I miss this thread?! Count me in.

I'm coming too! On the 23rd (couldn't have made the 30th). With advance notice I can make it work, I'm so excited!

Mary this is the hotel we stayed at.

It had a great location but the room was tiny with small beds (one queen for two people, not a king or double). It's an old building and I seem to remember some elevator problems.

I recommend this place if you want your own room. The rates are pretty low, for Seattle.

OH MY WORD. Denise. That's incredible. WOOOHOOO.

Murph11, fun to finally meet you.

Janet, will you keep a running tally of who is attending, and I will sort out the reservations.

Woooohooo! This is shaping up to be Quite The Thing, how exciting

(Mary and Denise, yay! Looking forward to seeing you both again ^^)

Shall we organize an "out of towners" dinner on the 22nd? All local Fabbers welcome, of course.

I've got YLF meetup on my calendar for the 23rd of July. Yay!
I could probably make a dinner on 22 July also.

edited to: I could probably make it to dinner. . . Just so you all don't think I'm offering to make dinner for all. (I don't think you'd want that.)

Wow - so fun for you guys!

Sharan, you crack me up.

Keep me in the loop, too... I might be able to make it but won't know until it gets closer...we have a significant birthday celebration that will either be that weekend or the one before...hoping it works out this time!

Dinner on the 22nd would be wonderful! I will keep track of who is coming to both. If people want to PM me letting me know if you are attending one or both, that would be great.

I will be happy to let those of you in the Seattle area recommend and coordinate meeting and eating places, since I don't know the city!

Excellent. Things book up quickly in Seattle - especially in the Summer. So as soon as we can nail down the numbers, I will book the restaurants.

Also need to know who is coming WHEN. Perhaps we can throw the 22nd in as a fun day too.

Ok, I've started to tally up people who have said they can attend. I'll start a separate thread to get solid numbers for both dinner on the 22nd, and breakfast on the 23rd. I assume we should make some sort of lunch reservations for such a sizable group on the 23rd as well?

I am a tentative maybe! Will know more next week!

YAY, Debbie. I hope you can make it.

Excellent, Janet. I hope we can do something during the day on the 22nd too.

I can do dinner on 22nd & available all day the 23rd

You can count me in for dinner on 22 as well as the meetup on 23 July.

If I'm able to come it won't be on the 22nd. So count me in for the 23rd.

I'm in for both days as well.

YAY! OK, I've been pretty preoccupied these last few days (we officially have a new tenant at our old house, AND we finally signed a listing contract on my family's old home from many decades ago, after a lot of blood, sweat and tears getting it ready to list and show, AND I fulfilled a couple of client orders in the meantime...), but I'll start a tally thread today. I also want to make my flight and hotel reservations today. I'm so excited!

I don't know if I'll be there for the 22nd, but will be for the 23rd. Can anyone recommend a hotel? I'm not sure what area I should be looking at.

So I'm thinking of purchasing my plane ticket. I would be available all day on 7/22 and 7/23, but will have to take off on Sunday morning.

JAileen, I still haven't made my reservations, but I'll be staying at a Marriott property downtown -- I'm looking at the Marriott Seattle Waterfront and the Renaissance Seattle (we have a gagillion reward points, so I'll go with wherever I can use them most effectively). There's also a Springhill Suites and a Courtyard, but they're a little further out. Did you see Angie's recommendation of Hotel Monaco upthread?

I've stayed at the Hyatt Olive 8 (downtown, 8th & Pine) and really like the location. I better get on reservations!

Any of you art & music lovers might want to check out Hotel Max, they have a nice international art collection and showcase local photography on each floor. I have not stayed there, but I have friends who have photos on display, (and they offer free Cafe Vita coffee and craft beer)
