Hi ladies!

I have a job interview on Friday for a library position (general library duties) at a public university, and I have a couple of specific questions about what to wear. I am in southern Texas, and the temperature has been up around 100 almost every day recently. Also, I want to wear my grey pencil skirt. With this in mind:

Do I need to wear a jacket?

Do I need to wear hose/tights?

I have searched the forums and found lots of good tips about job interviews, but not this specific info. Thanks!

Before I delve into your quezzies, good luck with the interview!

My 2 cents is no hose, but how short in your pencil skirt?

Also, if there is AC, you might like to wear a lightweight jacket to the interview. You’ll look more tailored, professional and polished with a jacket.

I ditto Angie - no hose unless the school is very conservative. If the skirt is to short to wear without hose then I would pass on that altogether actually.

Wear a sleeveless blouse but before the interview, slip into ladies restroom and put on jacket.

Thank you Angie and Chris! The pencil skirt is knee length, so it won't show much leg. Your opinions about the jacket confirmed what I suspected. I appreciate the help and well wishes
