Here is the same outfit with 3 different jackets. I'd love your CRS and feedback please. I wore one of these to the opera a couple of weeks ago. The black top used to be a dress in my younger days - now I scrunch it up to disguise the muffin top and wear it over jeans.

I love the red and silver jackets, I'd give those a 9, at least. The white one, maybe a 7? It seems sort of big to me or something? I'm not sure. The other two are really sassy though, so maybe I'm just dazzled by those.

The red is a 10. The silver a close second. The AT jacket is pretty and it looks nice on you, both the other two are such strong statements that it is a very different, softer, safer, more conservative look. You look amazing in red and black! If you can pull off a bold statement, go for it!

My favorite is the red one - super duper - the whole outfit is killer. The silver comes next (I love that jacket but prefer it with a little more color in the outfit.) The white one lacks punch.
What a great way to wear the former dress!

I love both the red and silver jackets, both are killers in my opinion. The white one is nice, but fades compared to the other two.

I'm in total agreement with everyone else. My initial thought was that the white was too long compared to the other two, but maybe it's just not quite as dazzling. Good call on salvaging the former dress!

Maya -- I agree that the red and silver jackets look awesome. I wonder if the pointelle on the white jacket might compete a bit with the design on the black top. The bright jackets and design on the top seem to complement each other in a way that doesn't with the white jacket.

Thanks for your input. This is so interesting. Actually my favorite initially was the white one but my husband wanted me to wear the silver one to the opera so that's what I did. I love all 3 jackets for different reasons and occasions. I think the white one also doesn't come through as well in the photographs as in real life. It's great to hear that you guys like the red one - I was so sure of it in this combo but now I'll wear it with oomph Thank you!

I love all three outfits for different reasons.

The red jacket is fun and funky and puts me in a good mood.

The white jacket is more sweet and demure--it makes you look innocent and sweet.

The silver jacket is hot hot hot. It makes you look sophisticated and urban.

I'm in complete agreement with Nicole.

But then, I'm a "mood dresser" ... so there would definetly be room in my closet for all three, depending on my mood.

Love how you repurposed a dress into a shirt! I may steal that idea...
