I think the interview went fairly well. It was a group interview, and I think I definitely did better than 2 of the girls I interviewed with. The other girl has worked at Anthro before and was a little older and obviously had an advantage, but I think I have a good shot at making the shortlist. There were a LOT of people applying though, so who knows. The store I want to work in (Rockefeller center) is pretty huge though, and with the holiday season approaching, I'm sure they'll need all the help they can get. So I guess my official sense of how the interview went is reserved optimism. I think I did look better and more "Anthropologie" than most of the candidates though
It was nice to be in the city though, and the interview was at the Soho store, so I was in an area I really loved. The people on the streets were so stylish it's truly mindblowing that they live in the same country as the people I see at home in NJ...
I can see myself feeling a lot more refreshed and inspired if I got to work there.
