Inspiration: Waterfall Cardigan (Angie's Ensemble)

Hi Neel, you look fab. I love the flare jeans with the waterfall cardigan and large handbag. If I saw you walking by in the street, I would turn my head to check out your cool style.

So it looks to me like these cardis have evolved... Any ruffley business has faded out in favor of more architectural and flowing stacked folds. Good to know! I love these stripes.

Thimbelina - I think you are right. I saw a lot of more *structured* waterfall cardis in both Mango and Zara.

Jackiec - Haha! It is still in the 95s here. It would be a while before I try this. Meanwhile here's one I did last winter. But I am not sure if the cardi is current anymore. If not, I might have to go shopping

I like this much better than the waterfall cardis of years past. Those always made me look about 10 pounds heavier, I don't know why.

I think actually these cardigans look better with the flares and bootcuts than with skinnies. They look fresher.

It's cute but I know that I would disappear in that. Just too much of everything. Long drapey oversized cardi, huge scarf, bootcuts, and large bag. I really could never pull that off - but I guess that's OK cuz it's not my style anyway!

Even tho I'm substantial I'm short, so I might just disappear in that too, like Marley mused. However, it looks darn cozy! I'm glad the AC is blasting at the moment, I can fantasize. Hot apple cider, please!

Her pencil-striped waterfall cardigan combines the unstructured coziness with a bit of crisp, so maybe that's part of the answer for us shorties.
