I'm over poorly made clothing but I'm really getting into quality clothing even if it means fewer pieces.

I'm over not caring about my wardrobe and totally into what's in style!

I am over buying something because it is on sale and into buying what I love even for a full price.
I am over wearing uncomfortable or not exciting shoes just because I spent money on them and into buying ONLY comfortable and stylish footwear.

I'm over uncomfortable shoes, and am really digging my 2 expensive-but-worth-it Fidji pumps. I think my shoe standards have become much pickier in the past 2 years; I tried on a pair of shoes that I bought 2 summers ago that were only marginally uncomfortable at the time, and it just drove me nuts to have pressure in the wrong places on my feet all day at work. Quality over quantity is my new footwear mantra and I'm sticking to it - maybe it will eventually trickle down to the rest of my wardrobe.

I'm over chocolate brown and losing interest in gray, but I'm really digging black.

I'm kind of getting over skinny/less voluminous scarves and LOVE my big, lightweight wool scarves.

I'm over cap sleeves and am really craving more just-past-the-elbow-length sleeves instead.

I'm losing interest in wearing contacts most of the time, and am very excited to add a pair of lightweight titanium specs into my otherwise-plastic-framed glasses rotation.

I'm over hiding my lower body in jeans and capris all summer long like I did in the past. This is the summer I decided to free my legs, and even my knees, to the air in skirts and shorts again!

I'm over t-shirts, but getting into more stylish, unusual cut in tops, whether woven or knit.

I'm over relying on discount stores for all of my shopping, but I'm really getting into paying full price when I find something truly fab in Nordstrom or a boutique store.

I'm over keeping every item in my closet because I might wear it *someday* and I'm really getting into the idea of only keeping things I LOVE!

This thread really made me smile.

My pleasure, Nicola.

I am over not loving my serious laughter lines, but into liking them because I am grateful that I laugh ALL the time.

Ditto on the laugh lines, Angie. I sort of like mine.

But on the clothing front...

I am SO over Lululemon yoga wear as street wear, but I'm really getting into street wear as street wear.

(My excuse was that yoga wear was soooo comfy after having babies).

I'm over buying multiple items because they are inexpensive, and into shelling out for fewer but fabber items. I'm over settling, and into holding out for the perfect thing.

I'm over making do with ill-fitting garments and into getting them tailored to fit perfectly!

MaryK, I am so with you on that last item! I'm getting pickier. My tailor is really starting to like me, I'm giving them so much business these days!

I'm definitely over "making do" with items that really don't fit me properly. Even my gear. I went through my hiking gear this morning in preparation for my Iceland trip, and I only have two pairs of pants that fit me anywhere near the way they should, out of a collection of about 8 that I've amassed over the past decade. I could literally take off most of those pants without unzipping and unbuttoning them. I don't want to spend a week hitching my pants back up afer every time I bend down to take a photograph!

I'm over trying to make knitwear last more than 1 season. Pills. GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
