I am sooo excited!! I bought a pair of skinny jeans at Nordstroms today and they look awesome on me! I know-- I am a little behind the times but I never, ever would have thought I could wear these...! Here is what happened: I went to Nordstroms' today with print outs of the MOTG outfits #1-4 and a clear vision of what I wanted to buy. I was set on trying leggings for MOTG outfits, rather than skinny jeans, because I had worked up the courage to think leggings might work for me (having seen so many of you all rock leggings here on ylf). I tried on Joe's jeans leggings and they looked pretty awesome if I do say so myself, so I thought what the heck may as well try skinny jeans too and they looked awesome.. even better than the jean (and other) leggings!! My husband loves the skinny jeans too! I also went with the skinny jeans over the jean leggings because I feel that for my lifestyle, the skinny jeans are more versatile and thus more functional.
so.. thank you all!! I have watched and learned so much from many of you here on ylf. This site is a million times more helpful to me than any fashion/style magazine because here I can see how real people of all shapes and sizes look awesome in trendy and/or timeless pieces. I am still learning but I feel that today was a big leap forward!
