I See Yellow

I have been seeing a lot of yellow in the early spring items....both mustard and brighter shades. Is anyone else seeing yellow?

Angie mentions yellow being strong under "pink" for runway shows. Maybe it is just showing up in retail a season late. I have not been shopping to notice.

Thanks Joy- yes, I am seeing yellow and pink together. I kind of like it, especially with mustard.
Angie I am picking up as much summer appropriate stuff I can find as early as I can. My summer is so long that I never have enough, and a new color to add is fun!

I haven't even looked at any Spring/Summer stuff yet. It's good that you've started looking early though in view of your long Summer season. Yellow and pink does sound nice also with navy would be lovely.

If these are the colors prevailing for the coming season, it will be easy for me to continue resisting shopping. They are lovely and I like to look at them, but I don't wear them well.

I would love to add yellow in - I rarely find it in a piece I like (I like butter yellow and mustard but not citron or lemon on me).

My perfect piece would be a soft fine gauge sweater.... I also love yellow in a pattern.

I see tons of yellow! And I'm into it!
I don't like mustard but there seem to be some lighter shades that might just be JFE on me.

I painted my kitchen yellow and it's one of my happy colours.

PS: Angie, those Gucci shoes are insane!

I like that Sweater Smittie - it is called Chartreuse but looks more like a light lemon or maybe light butter yellow to me. Have you seen it?

"Chartreuse" puts a bit of a chill in me--it looks like a pale yellow to me too.
