Got my hair cut the day before yesterday, and my hairstylist and I decided together to do a modified version of the asymmetrical shag/mullet cut I was pondering. This is still ultra straight from the salon styling, as I haven't had a chance to wash and style myself. So when I do it, the effect will likely be softer. We didn't go too severe on the shorter side -- I can either push it behind my ear to emphasize the asymmetry or let it fall in front of my ear to look more conventional. It should work even when I leave it wavy too.

So far I really like it! I've gotten a bunch of compliments on it too. I'm including some photos a friend took last night of me with my hubs (and his uncle) because I forgot to take a full length outfit photo yesterday with the haircut.
