Kathleen, I just picked up this top at BR today in a solid color. It was marked down to 30$ with an en extra 30% off. They are offering 30% off all their sale marked merchandise. I was also at Ann Taylor and ATF this weekend and they had some great deals on tops. Do check them out when you get a chance.

I never have any luck with nice shells for suits at Kohls or Penneys; they are either too cheap a material or are cut much too wide for under a jacket.

I have had much better luck at BR and BR Outlet, LOFT, AT Factory, and with Sweet Pea tops at Nordstrom. Sales are huge this weekend so get in if you can!

Dear Kathleen, may we see some pictures of you in the suits and the blouses in question?
I am wondering if the problem may be that the suits themselves need altering for a perfect fit.

I recently discovered a new line from Forever21 -- Love21, which is targeted toward working women under a budget. All of their items are under $30, and I've seen quite a few cute tops and dresses except they don't have my size for those :(

I've not purchased from this line so I cannot say about the quality, but being Forever21 I wouldn't expect them to last for years. If you urgently need something to wear now, rather than wait for nice things to go on sale, you might like it! Shipping is free over $75, and you can return items to any local store for store credit (refunds must be returned through mail).

If you have a Gottschalk's near you that's still open- check there. Mine has Sweet Pea tops for $18 now.
