My older daughter, Anna, became engaged yesterday, in her classroom in Prospect Heights, NY. Her now-fiance called us a few weeks ago and asked us to drive to the city to be there, and he pulled off the ultimate surprise with the help of her fellow teachers and her lovely kindergarten students. It was a magical moment and I just cannot believe the joy I felt watching my daughter take this leap of faith. I wanted to share with you all. (In several months, I will be looking for fashion help!)
