Oh boy! I did not realize what a challenge it would be to get a couple pairs of new boots for this Fall/Winter!
This was my post from last week where you all helped me so much!
http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....-boot-help

From that post I decided to send it all back, except #4 which I am exchanging for the same pair, there was a quality issue.

Here are some recent purchases I am thinking of returning most of it & maybe accepting that I just cannot wear tall boots OR that I do not need more than one pair & stick with the cognac pair from the last post:

excuse the outfit portion I put on my only pair of skinny jeans & just wanted to cover my tum so I threw on the denim shirt

1) Born Gilmore Dark brown. These just feel odd to me, looking down at them from above they look like mens shoes & seem a little too "clunky" . The also bag at the ankles. This also has me asking myself how many brown boots do I need? I have the cognac on their way alsothough a different color & I also already have a pair of midcalf pull on boots.
2) Same boots, side view

3) Target "faux" leather boots, I love these little lace up boots but not sure how to style these? I would not typically wear these with dresses which is the only way I can picture them? Unless I wore them under my straight legs?
4) another pair of Target Faux, anlkle scrunched type, they really do nothing for me, going back

5) These are Steve Madden P-Lorra. I LOVED how they looked on line. However they are zip ups which I like since I do not have the patience to lace up. So that makes it have a faux boot tongue & it gets bent & creased under the ankles & makes it so you cannot adjust at all, like near the ankles, where I need to since they bag. I believe these are going back but I wanted to see if maybe the height works? That will help me continue on my shopping to at least look for the correct shaft height, these are 16.
6) same boots side
7) This is a pair of "blue suede shoes" ok, boots I picked up *cheap* & I actually love them! These are perfect for pulling on & running around with the kids & THIS pic makes me wonder if I need to stick to bootcut jeans & give up trying with the skinny jeans tucked into boots look? I just tried it last year, but maybe this look is more "me" & I need to stay with it?

If anything I am thinking of returning all these pair (except my suede) & looking for a simple pair of black riding boots since I have the cognac pair on the way. OR jsut be happy with that one pair & move on with my life LOL
*sigh* I feel a little exhausted lol

Thank you in advance for helping this "jeans/tshirt/flip flop girl" get some style!
