So another half day of work today (damn recession) and off I go to my local TKMaxx for some browsing and mainly to buy some new running shorts.

I started off in the lingerie section in the hope of finding something pretty and lacy. Nothing on the main display racks really appealed to me so I went through the 32B sections and found a Chantelle convertible tshirt bra. I recognised the brand and knew that many women on the forum and Angie herself recommends the brand so I tried it on... Perfect fit and I think this might be the most comfortable bra I have ever worn! It can be worn in three ways- normal, crossed straps and halterneck- making it perfect for my awkward tops.

So thank you everyone for sharing your recommendations on the forum, I think I might have found 'my bra'.

Also, the best thing is that it was down from €70 to €6.99!

I think you and I are bra twins, hehe. Or at least yours sounds very similar to mine. It's my favorite bra. I wonder if TJ Maxx would have it (I'm assuming here that TK and TJ Maxx are basically the same thing). But they probably wouldn't have it in my size. Chantelle is a great brand but I'm wearing the largest cup size they make in a 32 band right now so I hope I don't get any bigger, otherwise I won't be able to wear them anymore :(

Glad you found "your" bra. Try the Africa bra and the body sculpt tshirt bra too. I love them both.

Woo-hoo, what a great deal! I am Chantelle convert too. I love their Africa bra and am looking forward to try the new Rive Gauche one.

Ooh, the Africa bra was my first Chantelle bra. Love it. I've been thinking of a convertible bra and I hope I can find the type you did Dawn. Wonderful you found a good bra at a great price!

I cannot believe you got such an amazing deal Dawn! Chantelle bras are wonderful. Tip: if you have a chance, try Marie Jo too (they do sell them in a few stores in Ireland: http://www.mariejo.com/shops/l.....ault.aspx)

I still can't believe my luck with the pricing. It was only when I got home and checked the Internet for general prices to see if I could order another few that I realised how great of a deal it was!

While I know it is not a strapless bra, I forgot to bring my strapless bra with me when I went away for the weekend so I used this bra as a strapless bra. It worked well as an alternative but I'll remember to bring the strapless bra next time.
