Drive thru atms, that is. Ha. And I have no shoulders either. Very narrow. Especially per my hips.

Revisiting this thread, and it's amazing how so many of the forum members are shorter than I thought! Aubergine, Susie, TraceyLiz…and I thought Dianthus and Neel were the same height as me! Too funny.

Echo, to answer your question from way back on the first page, my scoliosis definitely affects the fit of garments! I often can have something that's a little too big through the body altered by only taking in the left side -- my tailor was skeptical when I suggested it the first time, but she pinned it, and sure enough, that was all it needed. There are times when structured jackets with very little give simply look all wrong across my back -- they fit one side and make a weird wrinkle across to the other side.

I realized one day that when I take my WIW pics, if I hold my phone with the opposite hand and try to pose differently, my body looks totally different. It's really weird. I photograph well from a very small number of angles but truly terribly from most others. Even my smile is crooked! If I try to smile without showing teeth, I look like I'm smirking. Ha!

I'm 5'6" I think in bare feet, even sneakers add about an inch to that. It was wonderful to see so many YLF's in person. They all look even more lovely than their photos in RL, and it's great to hear people's voices, accents, and ways of speaking as well (another thing lost in written text).

Nearly 5'5" for me. Long legs, short torso. I wear regular sizes most times, but sometimes petite tops and dresses work better for me because the waist placement is better--as long as the sleeves aren't too short.

5'5" if you measure first thing in the morning, standing perfectly straight.

I think I'm technically 5' 1.5"... I used to go with 5' 1" but lately I've been rounding up, hah!

5'8" here. I cannot handle 4 inch heels so not making 6' ever. I've enjoyed this height although my inseam was an issue until recently when things got taller for me. I used to be a T or Long but now I'm R unless I get a cropped L and then it's regular length.

I'm 5'6" with a short waist. I've got a pretty good amount of leg and have finally learned that it's easier to order longs and hem them to PPL than to buy regulars and hope for the best.

5' 7.5". I grew 1/2 inch since I was last measured 3 years ago. I saw the doctor today. Actually I think it depends on the time of day and who does the measuring. I also have scoliosis.

I like my height. I have 2 sisters who are much shorter. One is 5' 2" and the other is 5' 5". My mother was 5' 2".

At 58 I am still 5' 7.5" tall. Slender arms and toned legs, hourglass figure. Could stand to lose the 10 lbs I gained last year.

I thought I had responded, but I don't see it. Anyway, I am 5'3".

I am 5' 6" now and just measured at the docs office a few weeks ago. I used to be 5' 7" but osteoporosis got little bits of me. It is funny to be measured again on a regular basis like I was a kid. Does anyone else feel strange about it?

I'm 5'1" with slight pair tendencies. Inseam is 27". I prefer wearing petites in everything. Ann Taylor, Loft, BR petites, and Nordstrom are my best friends in terms of shopping.

I'm just shy of 5' 6", with average waist length and leg length.

One of the most fascinating threads ever.
5'5" (.5" more on a good day), short waist, long legs, long monkey arms.

Great question. What an interesting read! 5'10" with long, knobby legs, high/not-defined waist, long neck, broad shoulders, very long arms. Reading that list, it's no wonder I have a hard time finding anything that fits off the rack?!
