How should I accessorize this outfit for salsa dancing?

I'm going to be attending a salsa ballroom (both salsa and ballroom style dance styles) event. I'm strongly considering this outfit.

- stretchy breathable top
- loose skirt (won't constrain legs doing dance steps)
- glossy blue grey tights 40 denier (won't tear easily)
- high heeled boots (comfy, helps dance on balls of feet)

How should I accessorize this outfit to give it flare?
What color eye shadow & lipstick would you suggest?

I love this. It makes me think flamenco- I know, totally wrong dance! Something in what I think of as your trademark red? A cocktail ring? Smoky eye?

Gorgeous! I concur with Rachy. Maybe a smoky eye. I know the usual guidelines are that if you do a strong eye than go with a nude toned lipstick, so If you want to try, say, a rich red lip, maybe you cold just do a strong eyeliner on your top lid. A big ring or a cuff bracelet would be nice too.

The texture of the ruffles and the shine of the boots look great and will be beautiful on the dance floor. I agree that a touch of red would be perfect.

Hi, Laura. I myself do Argentine Tango, so it's a bit different but the women do dress up for formal dances. I like the idea of a touch of red with your makeup. I also occasionally using this little hair ornament. I like the look of old-school tango glamor!

Well, shoes to start with. You need dancing shoes, something VERY comfy. Bring an extra pair in your purse if you can... anything heeled sandals with straps or flapper maryjanes, or alternatively, very comfy flats.

Then also bring an extra pair of tights / no show socks.

Breathable top is a very good idea. Make sure it is not too heavy, not too warm. Even bring a light cami or breezy top in case. Dance floors become very hot fast. I am afraid you will be too hot in your boots.

Lovely skirt!

I would vote for a bangle for an accessory, and then really play with the makeup. I would go for a red lip or, if your skintone does better with it, maybe even a fuscia one. I think you could also paint your nails red or some other eye-catching color. I think that your "accessories" in this case will have to be yourself: your nails, your hair, your makeup. You could perhaps look for a hair accessory like Mochi showed or else something else to put in the hair that has rhinestones or other sparkly things.
