Q&A about individual items, ensembles, and wardrobe

How should gloves fit?

I ordered a pair of leather gloves for the fall and kind of winged it on size. Now that I've got them, I'm wondering if they are too small but I'm not sure how to tell. I would say the gloves *just* fit but there's definitely stretching across the knuckles when I make a fist. The length of the fingers is exactly the length of my fingers with no room to spare. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think that's exactly how they are supposed to fit, snug but not too snug that they cut circulation.

If they are leather, they are going to stretch, so they sound perfect to me.

Yes, they need to be very snug. Sounds like you have the right size.

Patience, I wish gloves fit me that well! I think you're fine.

Shiny, I know you also have child-sized hands, so I'm curious about what you wear on your hands in the winter? I always end up with a big gap at the tip of each finger. My hands get cold very easily and I think they would probably be warmer if my gloves fit closer. Sometimes I wear mittens since they are warmer than gloves, but it's not entirely practical.
