Direct consequences of reading YLF:

- my first pair of booties
-Created a varied jeans capsule way beyond my boot cuts that I'd worn for years
-first white jeans
-first moto-style toppers (which are now a favorite)
-started thinking about workout gear as "fashion" and worthy of thought
-started thinking about outerwear/puffers/snow boots as fashion and worthy of thought
-purchased my first long puffer
-shopping in winter for spring/summer and shopped NAS for fall
-substantially increased the purchase price of items I buy & no longer sale/discount driven
-created a list of items I'm looking for and use that to drive purchases
-packing my suitcase for trips several days in advance
-learned that mistakes are part of the process and not to fixate on them
-learned it can be fun to talk about clothes with others

I've learned -and am still learning -

To think of an item in terms of fit as well as how it works with the rest of my clothes.

To think about a color palette for my wardrobe

To develop style goals for myself

To have a "to purchase list" & to feel less frantic about buying identified needed items (previously, I wouldn't shop for months & then try to do it all at once, rather desperately)
