Routine, duplications, and lists. I can save money, or I can make my life work, but I have to pick one.
Everything possible is on auto-pay.
I use the notes feature in my phone, like crazy.
If it needs to leave the house with me, right then, I go put it in my car. Think of your trunk or cargo area as your extra-large purse.
I use the Anylist app to keep a running list of things to buy at various stores, and family members have the ability to view and add things to this list.
I buy duplicates and multiples, and I stock up on items that mean life is not working for a family member if we run out, so we don't run out, ever.
I run the dishwasher every night, whether it is full or not, and I unload it every morning.
I cook on the weekends, and we eat it all week, supplemented with purchased things like bulk pulled pork or smoked chicken or a deli roasted chicken.
I run my whole life with Outlook. I send my husband meeting requests and he sends them to me.
At times, I have had to resort to printed checklists.
