I saw the most breathtaking theater production of an adaption of a childrens book at the National Theater in London. It is called Warhorse. It was done with life size horse puppets and dancers manipulating the movements of the horse. The most moving and visually beautiful thing I have seen in ages.

Beautiful clip. Thanks for sharing. I hope it comes to this side of the Atlantic!

Jean - that is just stunning. Thanks for sharing!

Laura,
The horse puppets are too fragile to be transported to the states. We had a tour of the National and that was the verdict, you must travel to see it!

Just that clip was moving, Jean...the whole show must be amazing!

Wow, the puppetry and movement is incredible. I doubt I'll be able to make it to London (or out of North America for that matter) at any time in the near future, but if so, it would be neat to see this. I take it that the play was good as well?

Yes Kari!
The play was remarkable. The story, acting and direction were as spectacular as the set and puppetry.
