I never really think of myself as a MOTG, but this outfit sure is, and I guess I am. Wore this to a dr. appt and work from home this morning.
The interesting thing about this outfit is that I subscribed to StitchFix a few months ago (after reading about it on Dooce), to see if someone could choose interesting pieces for me based on internet correspondence. I have had 2 boxes, and I think I'll suspend it after the 3rd (every 2 months) as I am not crazy about the overall quality. I did keep 2 pieces this time after sending back all 5 in the first shipment. I kept the striped top I'm wearing today, and the sweater that also looks super cute zipped. It's an itchy acrylic+nylon, though, and a brand I'd never heard of called market & spruce.
Jeans are NYDJ, boots are Sam Edleman Petty, bag is old, old, old Coach.
Funny story to share: Last week I was at a high tech trade show in NYC and one of my sales engineers talked with a software developer from a large bank who had stopped by our booth. As the guy started to walk away, my engineer said, "hey, I have weird question....where did you get that jacket?" The developer replied, "H&M" OMG it was hilarious listening to these guys! Loved it. It was a knit blazer, looked very comfortable and very chic on this young man.
