I love your thoughts here!!
I am currently obsessed with citron and yellow right now...from mustard to citron to butter...everything but crayola yellow:)

My bathrobe as a preteen was peach in the days before finding one's colors, but peach is definitely one of my best. I've not seen it available yet.
My small style epiphany is that I don't feel fab in draped jersey anything and shutter pleats were not made for rectangles..all this while again on the hunt for a MOG dress I'll feel fab wearing. I'm still kissing frogs and only finding what doesn't work.
It would be a dream to find a just -below-the-knee dressy sheath or fit-n-flare dress in peach!

My little revelation: Contrary to earlier claims, I can wear yellow/orange too! I still look dyspepsic in lemon and jaundiced in the orange of the year --- but apparently I can just about pull off turmeric and mango hues.

(@Fruitful --- bag proportion post soon, please! I lurrve those analyses!)

WOW! So great to read your little epiphanies! Thanks for sharing, ladies. I am VERY much looking forward to seeing your outfit renditions. Exciting!

Helen, that was so nice of you to say. Thank you so much.

Shannon, you are a sweetheart.

Claire, you crack me up. A dishcloth shirt for you it is!

Taylor and yellow - an *even* happier combination

High five peach-loving Joy and Carole!

Diana, this is your floral season! Jonesy and I are also climbing on that band wagon.

I think I'm still unclear on the specifics what I should/would like to be looking for, but thanks to my time here I'm enjoying pushing my boundaries by trying things I would never have dreamed of before.

Baby steps...

I want to do florals, peasant blouses and fit and flare dresses.
I am not getting rid of the black and white items in my wardrobe i just want a slightly more romantic look. I'd love to find a floral blouse to go with a midi that I have. Just trying to move things in a different direction.

Floral and floaty is not my vibe right now. I'm all about things like close fitting turtlenecks and tailoring. There are so many dolman and raglan sleeves in stores right now...and it's not working for me. Keeping it simple...even my hair and makeup are more restrained. Short hair, not quite so blond, and less "done." Guess I am in my less is more phase.

I'd love to give florals a try myself - maybe in a dress or a skirt?

I find that this winter, I've drawn away from accessories - instead I like accessorising with scarves or just colourblocking/pattern mixing.

Would that floral be a skirt suit??? I know floral pantsuits are all over the place.

I am veering away from tougher looks as well. Do not want any cute I'm-a-little-soldier-girl looks, either but have conflict over lifelong love affair with epaulets.
So practical, they are, right. Can actually put shoulder strap of bag through them.
Have I ever done this in my life? No.

I am a continual adder(experimenter) and purger. Lately have been focusing on
thinnest (without clingy) clothing that shows my curves. With any overlayers sticking
to (following closely) the sides so that bust curve and midriff indentation is revealed.

My latest directive/insight is that I am gorgeous and I want to showcase that and never the outfit. The natural outgrowth of disliking to be complimented on my various clothing components.

Welcome to the team, Angie, Jonesy and Inge (even if it is just for a season).

My recent epiphany is: to not push for change in my style, my tastes are what they are and the romance/ softness will always prevail. I hope that does not sound fatalistic because I have found the revelation to be quite liberating.

I realized I am into a touch of the cowboy look
