This is picture heavy!

So, I made it to NAS and bought one thing: A gray cashmere, leopard-print, surrender-the-waistline sweater dress! Not exactly what I was looking for, but I thought it might be a nice basic for work (just throw it on with some boots and go) and it was so cozy :).

In the pics, it looks a little snug through the shoulders, but IRL I don't think it does, and the SO and I both love it so I'm keeping it! Re. styling it: I know I could do a pendant necklace or a scarf, but do any other options spring to mind? It will be too hot for a jacket over it. Shown in pic 2 with a vest I have lying around.

I also got some amaaazing new boots that fit me like a glove! (Not from NAS, from yoox.com) I told the SO that we were getting a divorce and I was eloping with the new boots! As Queen Mum says, these make my heart go pitter-patter. I don't need styling ideas for these, just wanted to show them off :).

I got a new bag at the Rack. It's LAMB and will work perfectly as my go-to work bag (for laptop, etc. etc.).

I bought a new jersey dress at BR outlet. I think it's too body-conscious for work, but how about with these longer jackets?

Lastly, I got a new silk blouse from the Rack. I know I can pair it with some skinny black pants or jeans, and a black pencil skirt, but what do you think about these pairings with two types of black pants?

#1 Sweater dress

#2 Dress with a short-ish vest over it. This is the only vest I have that is somewhat cropped. I don't know how I feel about the denim, but how does the silhouette work?

#3 New boots

#4 New tote for work

#5 New BR outlet dress

#6 Dress with blue jacket

#7 Back of jacket (there's a drawstring)

#8 Dress with black jacket

#9 Silk top with flare trousers, tucked

#10 Untucked with belt

#11 Untucked without belt

#12 Untucked with slouchy tapered trousers and boots

Thanks for looking--frank feedback always welcome!!
