One of my best friends is defending her thesis today and we're all so excited and happy for her. It has been a long and bumpy road.
In the evening there will be a dinner with the faculty, Dean, opponents, colleges, friends and family. It takes place at an art gallery/café.
My friend's style is casual, effortless, a bit androgynous with a touch of boho. I'd like to get a bit of that academic arty vibe (less boho) and want to wear my Alexander McQueen print dress, dark blue block heel pointy toe pumps and sheer black hose. I need a topper and went for a gold/blue long cardi (I'll probably remove it during dinner). BUT which bag?
