Well, rocketing straight to the top of my list this week, the winning happy moment for me is seeing Angie's post about a YLF meet-up in London - so exciting!!

DH and I drove to the RHS (Royal Horticultural Gardens) at Wisley on Monday and walked around in the sunshine, admiring the beautiful floral displays, before heading to the tea room for coffee and carrot cake.
I spent a lovely morning yesterday catching up with a good friend. We sat in the sunshine in her beautifully tended garden, with coffee and buttered Scotch pancakes. We spent some time putting the country to rights in light of the recent General Election before moving on to the more interesting topic of family news.
I even sat in the sunshine in my own (less beautiful) garden yesterday evening, with a glass of red wine and a newspaper, while DH kindly cooked the dinner for no particular reason. That really is something to be happy about.
I see I have a pattern going on here of food/drink, gardens, and sunshine. It's a winning combination!
I'm grateful to everyone who posts on this thread and to you, Diane, for starting it every week - it's so uplifting to read everyone else's
