Thanks to everyone for such lovely comments.....this shows what a genuine, caring and thoughtful place this is. Certainly while we all have fashion and style as a common interest, the forum is much more than that.

The kitchen should be working again by the weekend, then there is the painting, tiling and wallpapering to go! I will share some pics. We had put the renovation off for a couple of years due to travel and business decisions so I will really appreciate it now.

Not only do I enjoy seeing the photos of your lovely outfits, but I love to hear the thought and care that you put into them. And even more than all that, I just know that you would be wonderful to sit down and share a cup of coffee (or tea) with and visit for hours... Maybe someday I will get to mark something off of my bucket list and visit your part of the world and I will look you up!!

Kiwigal, you are not the only hypocrite...I am looking for some high-waisted bottoms too, after swearing I'd never do it. I'm short waisted also. I just ordered a few pairs of high-waisted shorts from Nordstrom. They should arrive by the end of the week.
