Elizabeth P: How right you are! I need to project my real self, since that's the only role I can play night after night!
Olivegreen: You are clearly experienced at relocation! I used to be -- having moved several times in my 20's and early 30's. I like the opportunity for reinvention, but I'm lousy at stealth! Your wisdom is appreciated.
Windchime: I'm typically quick to smile, but I'll have to remember not to look dazed and confused! It's easy to do right now!
Rambling Ann: Good tip about the iced tea! I'll definitely do that!
Merwoman: Thanks for your kind words --- I'm trying to remember to be the neighbor I want to have!
Angie: I called a salon in my parents town this afternoon and asked if they had someone who could cut my hair that very hour! Crazy, I know, but I've just lost my stylist at home, and my hair has been driving me crazy! Sarabeth pruned me like an overgrown arborvitae! I feel reborn and fresh. I packed my white slim bf's for the home inspection tomorrow. I'll pair with my chambray blazer and the flat fuun shoe below!
Amy -- you are the painting expert! I hope your move is on the horizon!
KKards -- Thanks for the good wishes!
Dakota: I grew up in West Lafayette. I'm looking forward to the balance of a metro area with a family friendly (and affordable) vibe.
Shevia: Learning to watch and listen is so key in any new situation. Unfortunately, I'm a bit of a golden retriever (squirrel!) I'll have to remember to slow down, breath, get a nice cup of tea, and just people watch (maybe at Nordies).
