I'm obsessing over this bag:

Coach garnet bag in dark berry

It's a pinkish red rather than a "red" red. I feel like I could get as much use out of it as a "red" red...maybe more. For example, I think I could wear it with my many green items, and it wouldn't look like Christmas due to the berry tint. I've seen it in person, and it's gorgeous!

I'm thinking it would be a great 40th birthday gift...help ease the pain. :o)

Yes I can see why you are obssessed with this bag! It is very nice, I like the colour and agree that it would work with many different colours. I had a quick look at some of the other bags too - yummy!

You are so funny. Let's see if we can help ease the pain!!! Well for starters, we all know how you feel because we've all obsessed, been there.
That bag is really gorgeous and worth the price. I haven't seen a bag that pretty in a long time. In fact most bags I do not find attractive at all, with all the stuff hanging all over them. I finally resorted to buying very plain bags on the sale table just for the color. The other day I found a pretty off white Coach, very plain, and a pretty rose-brown DB, also very plain.
I think your berry Coach would be the perfect 40th birthday present.
