Here's an update to my recent hair boredom post. Today I got my hair trimmed. I showed my "hair boredom" thread and my Pinterest board of haircut ideas to my stylist, along with photos of my style icon (thanks to you all!), Linda Rodin. My stylist is the best. She advised me on which short styles would work for me, and we picked the one we liked the best. When she saw Linda Rodin, though, she was wowed. We decided to keep growing my hair, with the aim of getting it long enough to wear up sometimes. As it grows, I am going to experiment with putting it up in ways that I can manage at this length. I've scheduled my next appointment for December.
So here it is, not much changed, but I'm looking forward to trying longer hair!
