Got Bored ... New Hair ... Sort Of ...

Well, I got bored today, and was in need of a trim anyway, so off to the hairdresser I went. The links pasted below are what I ended up doing to my hair. I will post a pic with me soon.

So, in short (no pun intended), I was feeling good about my short hair, until thsoe small insecurities came creeping back in.

Any advice girls?

p.s. I am in therapy .. LOL.

I don't think that's Kathleen in the first picture, just because she said "I will post a pic with me soon."

That said, I love pixie cuts and totally envy anyone who has the features to pull them off. I can't wait to see it!

BTW as for advice: When I cut my hair short (short being a relative term), I also felt kind of insecure with it. I find that with short hair, you have to girly it up a bit more than usual. I am very low maintenance so a full face of makeup is just never going to happen on a regular basis, but a bit of tinted lipgloss is manageable. It made a big difference. I also realized I could not get lazy with my brows anymore like I did when I had long hair, so I have them cleaned up more frequently. I think Ana mentioned feeling this way too when she first went short. She went out and tried something ruffled (if I remember correctly) and felt better immediately. There is just something so great about boyish short hair contrasted with lots of femininity!
