It's no secret that I love makeup:) A friend who also just happens to be a makeup artist told me about this woman she discovered on YouTube- Dominique Sachse - a Dallas-based newscaster who happens to be really good at makeup and hair. I fell into a YouTube rabbit hole watching a bunch of videos one night - she's really good!
Warning - she is from Dallas so there is a lot of makeup going on , plus she's a TV news reporter so there's that look too. But she has great product recommendations, and does really beautiful eye makeup. My makeup artist friend likes her hair videos too - which are great if you have slightly longer hair. DS currently has a really cute pixie bob and shows how to style it and blow it out etc . One must also ignore the occasional spiritual references and use of the word "blessings" - if that isn't your cup of tea.
I have bought her concealer recommendation (a Tarte product) as well as the Kat Von D shadow palette (not for the faint of heart though - super highly pigmented ) . Great stuff.
