going out of business sale

Did you know, or even care, coldwater creek is going out of business. Planning their sales to start for Mothers Day. Even though I am not as young as a lot of you, I never shop there. The few times I have walked thru the store I seldom saw anything I wanted, and when I did seemed most was too big. However some may like it, but also may have mothers to shop for. They also have an online outlet store. I may cruse that as I am in need of a good black cardi, or if a good sale on a navy one.

I had heard that, AT. They were never a regular stop for me because of what you said -- sizing started too big -- but I have a couple of absolutely plain basics from them that have been real workhorses.

They lost me with their screamingly colorful giant florals and Hawaiian-style prints, cut very generously and paired with jewelry made of huge beads. It made me feel that their target client was someone in her mid-60s who considered herself a bit of a character and was always packing for her next trip to the islands. In other words, not me.

At least, not yet.
