Day 4 of my personal challenge and I'm pleased to report that I'm feeling fine today, no tummy upset, no headache and no flu shot, yay!

Today I had appointments with 2 clients. The first one is someone who's been with me over 20 years and since she became widowed I always go to her home as she doesn't drive. Being quite a smart and somewhat conservative client, I always try to look smart and wear a skirt too. So that was the basis of today's outfit, and therefore I knew it had to be my other jersey skirt (I only have 2). This one was made by me and cost me zilch, nadda, nothing! A client very kindly let me have some left over fabric from an order, gotta love a freebie! I chose to pair it with my asymmetric buttoned burgundy cardigan (very soft to the skin), and matching pikolinos booties. I also decided to try sheer barely black tights today and I layered four silver necklaces to pick up on the silvery buttons.

So, I can report that the jersey faux wrap skirt was very comfy to sit at my sewing machine when I got back home this morning and I still felt presentable for client number 2 this afternoon. With two skirt days in a row, I realise that I can be comfy at home in a skirt as long as it feels soft, stretchy and does not constrict my thighs when I'm sitting a lot. I need more jersey skirts in my life!

Comments suggestions welcome.

Oh, I nearly forgot to say that my hand bag for today was a small pale cognac tote and topper was my trusty green trench.

ETA. Suz, you asked if my cat took a liking to my hose and put runs in them, well, fortunately not, though he does treat my jeans clad leg as a scratching post when it's time to be fed!
