Gap legging jeans: WDYT? - YouLookFab Forum

I popped into Gap today with a LONG list of things to try. Sadly, almost all of it didn't fit. The blazers that I tried, including the piped one and a lovely blue one, were too boxy on me. The boyfriend shirt gaped at the bust and a shift dress that I tried was so shapeless on me!

A pair of jeans fit me well though - the legging jeans. These are 98% cotton and 2% elastane, not like the coloured legging jeans which have some polyester and lots of stretch.

The fit is good, no gaping at the waist and fitted yet comfy on my thighs. I don't mind the distressing. I do need jeans, since one of the two pairs I have is pilling (ugh) and the other has bagged out a lot.

What do you think of these? I know the length might be iffy but these are the 28x30 and I would probably get the 28x32 to get some scrunch.

They look good, Kirti. If you need and want this style, I say take the chance; the fabrication seems sturdy.

The fit looks good. My experience with Gap jeans is that they do bag out terribly so I buy them extremely tight and then let them relax with wear. However, Gap jeans in Europe may be a different fabrication - the sizing is certainly different (and saner).

I like them on you, but have no experience with Gap jeans as they never seem to work on me. I have purchased 3 pairs in the past and returned them all.

Yes, I think you need to go longer. Also, GAP denim stretches out a lot, so I agree with Silvie.

They look really cute on you - but in my experience GAP stretches out a bit, so take that into consideration when choosing your size - also, I'd go with a longer leg in order to get that all important "scrunch!"

Look good but I haven't any experience with Gap jeans. Agree with you to get the longer length.

Kirti, I got the same ones. They are even shorter on me than on you but I plan to wear them exclusively with tall boots and tunics so it does not matter. They tuck really well into fitted tall boots and don't bunch up as much as skinnies do.
I got 2 pairs of Gap jeggings two seasons ago and they did not bag much -- hardly at all, just a bit on the knees because I sit all day. I don't know if these will be the same or not though - they do tend to change their fabric on regular basis.

Thanks all, I think I will try the longer length and also the size down. I will also wear them all day before cutting the tags to see if they stretch.
