Ha ha. Some of those patterns look like things my Mom would make. I don't see anything resembling stuff I used to sew. Where are the dolly rocker dresses?
Anna, this was incredibly funny. I grew up making Mccalls patterns and never noticed anything odd about the images except that they were kind of fascinating the way cereal boxes and the Vermont Country Catalog can be. I sent this to three different generations of women and we all enjoyed a laugh out loud while alone moment. Thank you!
I almost missed this, this rabbit hole that I will not emerge from for at least another 30 minutes, as I try not to shake the bed and disturb the BF with silent laughter...
By the way, when I saw the title of this post, I didn't think of people who assemble clothing, My mind went directly to that thing that backs up - inevitably on the Friday evening of a holiday weekend, and stinks and costs an arm and a leg to fix.
