For Legacy of Pearl - Brugge

Hi LOP, I just read that you guys will be in Brugge this weekend. I've been meaning to ask if you'd like to get together sometime for a cup of tea/coffee, some shopping...

This would be the perfect opportunity, but I'm already fully booked this weekend. Grrrr!

If you're up for it, we could set a date somewhere in May and I could travel to Amsterdam (that's where you are right?;-). Always a fun outing.

Have a marvellous time in Brugge, it's a fantastic city for walking.

Edit: I just realized you were only telling us about your weekend trip to Brugge, and that it wasn't an actual 'invitation' to get together (now or any other time). My mistake, I do apologize!

And: please don't feel obligated now to say yes to the Amsterdam idea above, it's just a thought!

Hi Inge! I just saw this. My son and husband are sick today. :(

It's a great idea! That's why I told that I'm coming to Brugge. I hope we can still come tomorrow, but we'll come sometime soon if we can't this weekend.

I'm mostly in Delft and go to Amsterdam couple of times a week. I think Rotterdam is better for shopping. What do you think?

Please send me an email through http://www.legacyofpearl.com/page/13966 and we can connect. Looking forward!

Oh, I am green with envy - I was in Brugge many years ago and it is one of my favorite cities to visit! As fabulous as Paris, London or Munich can be, nothing compares to the quiet beauty of cities like Brugge or Salzburg or Bremen...My husband and I are planning a small, weekend trip somewhere next time we are in Europe (in September) sans children and Brugge was one of the cities on our wish list.

Anyway, totally OT. I hope you guys get the meet up!

I love Bruges, too! It is one my favorite cities in Belgium. (Anvers is another). I hope you two get to meet up. Where do you live Inge?

LOP: grrrr, rotten luck. I hope your son and husband are feeling better today! And that you'll still be able to visit Brugge today or soon anyway!
Rotterdam sounds good, I've never actually 'gone shopping' there. I'm sending you an email this weekend.
Yay, a European YLF mini-convention!!

Shana and Bellacville: what a coincidence that you've both been to Brugge as well! And I agree: it's very compact, very walkable, has a quiet & friendly atmosphere, and has retained some 'old world charm'.

Bellacville: No! I live in Antwerp!! Did you get a chance to visit extensively during your year in Belgium?

Shana: I know a weekend goes by very quickly and that you guys will have loads of other plans, but if you'd like to meet for a quick cup of tea or something, then do give me a shout.
