Hi everyone. In case anyone else has skinnies with ankle zippers that are bothersome, I thought I'd share my solution in an easy Do It Yourself (with pics)!

I had some iron on interfacing (from a fabric store). I knew I couldn't iron it right on the zippers, but the surrounding fabric instead.

Turn pants inside out. Heat up iron as directed. Cut a large piece that will span from crease to crease. Leave the portion of the zipper uncovered that you need to still be functional. (Its the top part that is the scratchiest, IMO). Iron the interfacing onto the fabric surrounding the zipper firmly. Repeat for other leg.

This just took a few minutes and made these pants so cozy and soft. Totally worth the effort!
