I really like those boots Jean and I would say they fit pretty well, so I would keep them.

A while ago I also posted a LC pair that fitted me very similarly, and the vote was it was OK, even for skirts/dresses:

I actually think they fit perfectly. I would keep them, and I think they can definitely work with skirts. Most LC styles I have tried fit me well and I also have a narrow calf, so I think a lot of them run on the smaller side (the Zappos description is often inaccurate).

They look really good from the front. I can see what you mean about the gaping on the side shot, but it's such a small amount, I think it's hardly noticeable. I would keep them.

What have you decided about the Frye Harness boots from the other thread?

La Canadienne runs snug and those are nice on you. When I tried them I had no complaints about the circumference on my slender calf (they were tight on my foot). What a deal! I would spring for LCs if I could get them for half off or secondhand, but they wear so wear no one gives them up!

Jean, do you mind telling me what model those boots are? I might try them as well.

Medusa- they are called Sonia. I think they were low on sizes. I got them from endless.
Zappos might have more selection of sizes.
