I haven't seen Minority Report in several years, but it captured my interest while flipping through the menu last night. A quick synopsis is in 2054 the Washington DC police are testing a "pre-crime" unit that utilizes psychics called "precogs" to take people into custody before they commit a violent crime.

Anyway, I was thinking what if this concept could be applied to shopping? Before you pull out your credit card or hit the order submit button on a fashion mistake in the making or an item you'll never wear, the style police barge in and prevent your transaction. Or when you are heading out the door with pants that are too short or too many accessories, they intervene.

Perhaps a stretch of an idea, but I bet if it were possible women would appreciate the service. Oh wait... there is something familiar about all of this...
