After watching the video I had to laugh. Unless you know human anatomy and musculature you can do some damage to yourself. The way she was using the roller on her neck made me shiver!
I have had PT and massage therapy on my IT band which I manage using a foam roller to keep trigger points at bay. Last year I developed severe pain my my TMJ . Not only did I have severe trigger points in my TMJ, I had severe trigger points in my SCM, Traps, etc. - in other words most of my cheeks, neck, upper back, shoulder, biceps, triceps. It has taken almost a year to get rid of this pain via trigger point massage, but to maintain the results, it is better to stretch and elongate the muscles and finally build strength in all your muscles than using a foam roller to break up fascia.
