Ensemble roundup: Whiteout, Pastels & Citron

I'm sorry for being a forum hog today, but I had a couple of hours at my disposal and got inspired to take a few photos while trying out ideas.

What I tried:
#1: Winter Whiteout. I still miss pieces for a truly successful winter white outfit. I tried to make my old puffer work (to keep it real, you know), but I'm not so sure. For Spring, I'll gladly wear the other version with trench coat and suede booties.

#2: Classics and Pastels. I think these works a little better, but a better bag would definitely help. I like the idea of wearing the second version in Spring.

#3: Grey, White & Citron. I liked these best. The tee is a white/citron stripe, and the yellow pastel sweater is light&bright enough to work, I hope. But again, the bag selection is not perfect.

What I learned: I love these ensembles, they are all very inspiring and interesting, but not all that easy for me to put together with what I have. I need more accessories to make them work. I also need a new white Winter topper if I'm going to wear a true Winter Whiteout ensemble. Maybe next year? A new, lighter bag for next season is on top of my list right now.

Well, I like every one of these! You look fresh and ready for spring. The citron ones are especially fun. As usual, you are capsule queen! Your capsules have always been wonderful, but truly, they are getting better all the time. Not forced, you know? It's part of the new spontaneity and play.

Amazing interpretations… all of them. The outfits in #3 completely blow me away -- they are GORGEOUS! I also love your winter whiteout looks. I think the puffer works just fine as part of the ensemble. (Hey -- it is winter. Got to stay warm.) Your two versions of "Classics and Pastels" are ladylike and sophisticated. I love watching your creative process -- very inspiring.

I love the third ensemble. Your looks are excellent though, and I think it is because you don't have all the completer pieces. This way I see yor creative solutions to the parts missing and they are great.

These are lovely. It's interesting how they give such a different vibe than the previous set you posted today. The lighter palatte here has a much more delicate and ladylike feel.

Beautiful outfits! You seem to choose each piece with care, so that everything "plays well" with everything else. I love how the citron belt matches the strips in your top!

I am wondering about the solid blue scarf in the second set of outfits. On my monitor, it seems too cool perhaps for the outfit, which seems in general warm in color. But the warm-cool contrast might be due to the picture itself, which seems to maybe be casting a warm tone on everything--including your hair, which looks red (I'm not sure if that's true-to-life).

Gigi, the colors aren't quite right this time. I took the photos at night, in lamp light and with flash. My hair isn't red, but I can tell that it seems to be red in that photo, too. I think the light blue is better with this in real life:)

#1 and #3 are FANTASTIC to me. Very composed. You could do these over and over exactly as are and *I* wouldn't get bored. You might, but that's an entirely different matter...

Great looks for Spring Ingunn. I love #1 and the middle outfit in #3. It's more maximal but in a good way.

I like all of these, but really love all the citron looks and the trench coat version of the whiteout. The bright pink clutch is so pretty too, and really adds to the outfits.

Liz A, you made me smile:) I would love to have naturally red hair, but my color is neither natural nor red. I do have some chestnut in the mix, though, so I guess that's enhanced in the photo.

What's not to love in nr 1 with the puffer, Ingunn???? Beautifull white outs! Love all others, too!!!! Very much!!! Admiring your light colored basics(essentials?-will never be sure which is which:-))! Great job the adition of citrons here!

I adore all of these Ingunn! Both of the winter whiteouts look good to me and I really like the citron sweater outfit. I think your fuchsia/pink clutch is a fab accessory too.
