Ooh, I love the flat boots! They seem more versatile. They would be a nice, unexpected twist with a dress or skirt.

I would go with the flats! If I can be honest, the heels have the potential to move from edgy to a little bit tacky... I think it really depends on what you would be wearing with them.

If I recall correctly, you're in high school, right? I think that the extreme height of the heels makes them a little too edgy. The flat boots would give your outfits a punk feel while still seeming age-appropriate.

I like the second. The first actually (heels plus peep-toes) looks extremely girly rather then edgy to me. Very strait-laced idea of the 'feminine' as a man might interpret it, which to me is the opposite of edgy.
